About Me

My Work

Hi! I’m Adam Braus an educator, engineer, podcaster, and author living in San Francisco.

I believe in people. I see their potential even when they don’t, and I encourage it 👏!

I value truth, keeping promises, compassion, and kindness.

I’ve written novels and screenplays for fun, but mostly I write non-fiction about Big Ideas that could change the world for the better.

What We Have in Common

If you are here, I’m going to go out on a limb 🦵and guess that we both agree on three things:

  1. New ideas are important

  2. Stories are compelling

  3. Books are awesome

I’m going to look very deeply into my crystal ball 🔮 and also guess:

  1. You have an idea for a book you would like to write

  2. You believe this idea is exciting and important

  3. You believe the book could transform your career, your life, and even the world

My “On Paper” Stuff

I have had many experiences that have prepared me to be an excellent book coach.

I earned my BA at St. John’s College — the “Great Books” college. There I read pretty much every great book in the western civilization you can think of. My top fav’s include: Tolstoy’s War and Peace, Darwin’s Origin of Species, and Euclid’s Elements.

I’m a graduate of Seth Godin’s AltMBA where I learned some marketing and branding magic 🪄🦄✨. (Brag: One time Seth made me a dosa.)

I am a trained (but not certified) coach in various coaching models including ACE—the Academy of Coaching Excellence.

I’ve written and published two works of nonfiction - Motivate, and Leading Change at Work. I’ve also written two screenplays and two novels, but they will not be published until after my death ☠️. I have a third book coming out in a few months entitled The Future of Good: A Guide for Good People and Good Societies Going Forward.
